The geisha
Memoirs of the Geisha was awesome....
think i would catch it again if someone, anyone
dont mind paying for me. haha :D
it was even greater cos i had Ben and Jerry for company.
oh dan, i din forget you,
its just that with those two around
i tend to.. nah.. always get distracted.
anyway, you have to catch the show
and real soon otherwise i will be telling you all about it.
Gong Li was amazing as Hatsumomo, she was jus so vicious
and yet she was gorgeous. its really sad cos in the end if you read the book,
you would know that she became a prositute. there were rumours that she was spotted here and there but Sayuri never saw her again.
the saddest part of the show for me was after the fire scene, we see a long haired and long gowned Hatsumomo walking out of the Okiya with Sayuri looking out of the window at her. and on Sayuri's lips were these words "it could have been me. are we so different?" Hatsumomo vanishes into the mist.
Well DONE! yay!
tis is so much better than Mr Potter.
"chairman dont you understand that everything i've done so far was that so i could bring myself closer to you." then her blue/grey eyes stares at you.
think i am going to get coloured contacts soon. Unless Ming Fei or Juli willing to exchange eyes with me? hmmmmm.. ?
