time stand still

time for some much needed talk and laughs
i am sure it will be fun and interesting.

anyway i came to another realisation yesterday.
i realised that i have watched so many movies with you that i din know how to respond when someone asked me out for a movie the other day. i was so tempted to say no i will be catching it with you. haha but i realise you wont be around cos u are MIA-ing now. (No worries, i have a list in my head that i would like to catch and you can be my movie kaki, after you are done MIA-ing). so i said ok, why not? it would be fun rite? anyway, that person is funny and weird and just cracks me up all the time.

and so i promised myself that if ever anything were to happen between you and me, i would still have my friends and you yours. the world can never revolve just around two people. it doesnt make sense. people who are so self absorbed will realise one day when it all ends, that the world is still spinning, time doesnt stop, waves still crash upon the breakwaters (Except the ones at Pasir Ris Park, Haha), flowers grow, friends have moved on, other friends have gotten together, and it will hit them that time doesnt stop for no man just because it stood still for them.

i was once told that i have the power to make time stand still, all because i said yes when he asked me out. and that night of laughing and almost drinking was burnt into his memory forever. and for him, that night time stood still til it was time to go. (what an irony huh?)

oh well, maybe one day, i will understand that phrase "time stood still".
